I went into this book blind because there were no reviews and I had never heard of the author. First off the story will tug at your heart because it has to do with spousal abuse and you truly will feel for Grace. Liv is a great character as well and her love for Grace really comes through. I would have given it 5 stars except for the very cliche way the characters are pulled apart at the end of the book. It was so very predictable and I was hoping the author would involve some other form of angst then what has become a typical plot device in lesbian romance to tear the characters apart. Also not sure if it was just me but the Kindle version of the book had serious formatting errors. It didn't take anything from the story but if the publisher reads these reviews maybe this can be fixed. Overall I really enjoyed this story and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance.
